My Opinion About PumpkinPorno:
I must admit that I raised an eyebrow upon hearing I'd be reviewing a site called Pumpkin Porno. I wasn't sure if I was about to enter some weird-ass fetish world or some tacky reality site. Happily, I didn't have to worry about either.
PumpkinPorno.com is a site featuring films from producers Pumpkin Films and Union Jaxx and they are apparently the largest producers of adult entertainment in the United Kingdom. While they may be from the UK, they shoot all around Europe and it looks like you'll find a little bit of everything here. Judging from the thumbnails on the members' page, it looks like you can enjoy masturbation, lesbian and loads of hardcore scenes.
The menu is self-explanatory, but I can't say that I enjoyed the site navigation because it looks as if there are hundreds of pages to search. Also, the video search, which would help with browsing movie titles, is under construction. Quick movie archives contain at least a couple hundred short clips and the site offers approximately 228 full movies. The flicks appear to start with interviews as the chicks sit on a sofa or in another area half-nude. There's no sexy foreplay movement into a scene, but rather the men just come in and the babes just start giving them head. The 640x480 .mov files are fairly large, and even if your connection speed is over 1.5Mb, there's still going to be a bit of a waiting time. However, in the end, you'll find the movies worth it when it comes to action, and in the meantime you can always look at the photos.
The pictures are 600x900, which isn't a bad size and they're both professional and crisp. However, there doesn't seem to be any sets. Rather single images are spread over nine pages. I'd say there are maybe 40 photos per individual shoot and the more I look, the more I realize that each page contains one set of soft and hardcore photos making up maybe nine sets in total. It's still not a grand amount, and I totally could have gone for better-organized galleries.
In fact, the navigation is probably one of the biggest drawbacks to the site. None of the models are listed with bios, there are no scene descriptions, nor are there any episode titles. There is a quick search area, but it's still under construction and there's no promise about when to expect its completion.
Final Verdict:
I wasn't happy about the navigation and felt the videos could have been clearer. I also wanted more format options, but mainly because QuickTime isn't my preferred format. There wasn't much to the films in the way of substance, but they get to the point of hardcore quickly enough and 20 minutes is more than ample time to get off. Pumpkin Porno features exclusive films, although from what I viewed, I wouldn't say that they are any more or less unique than most other adult film producers.
